The St. James Adult Bell Choir began ringing in 1987 with borrowed bells from First Presbyterian Church, Pictou.  In October 1988, St. James purchased three octaves of bells.  At present, our five octave set of bells and four octave set of chimes are played weekly by our ten Adult Ringers.  Our bell choir plays regularly in worship at St. James, as well as weddings, concerts and special services in our community.  We continue to provide outreach throughout the year to extended care facilities - ringing and singing in the halls for seniors in our community.
